This is the first opportunity I've gotten to comment on this great show and it hardly seems like a week has already passed since it took place.
It was an outdoor show and other than the humidity which is almost a given in Houston, the night was clear with not a cloud in the sky.
Randy took the stage dressed in a black jacket, a white t-shirt, black jeans and black boots. He came out singing "Diggin' Up bones" and covered many of his well known hits including three of his Christian ones "Three Wooden Crosses," "Pray for the Fish" and "Raise Him Up." He also performed "Dig Two Graves" and "Everything I Own has Got a Dent."
Randy's sinuses were bothering him quite a bit that evening so he did apologize to the crowd saying if we heard things we've not ever heard come out of him and liked it, he meant to do it; if we didn't like it, he apologized.
There was an iron gate across the stage so one couldn't get up there for autographs and there was no encore but what Randy sang, he sang wonderfully.
Not every seat was filled but the crowd noise and appreciation made up for it. Another job well done, Randy.
