I can't believe it! The video is great. All the pictures chosen are great, especially the one of me toward the end of the video. That was great. Thank you. Everyone who has seen it already, must be really enjoying it. It was well put together with the selection of photos submitted.

Dee, I don't think the DTG video will be submitted to CMT or GAC because it is "The Official Randy's Ranch Fan Club Video." That is how they have it advertised on Youtube. It's a lovely video but the quality of the photos are not very good and if you go to full screen many of the faces are not recognizable.

Thanks Lademars for the info. I thought that was probably the intent but I wasn't sure. Didn't want to miss an opportunity to vote for Randy if it was to be released . It was a nice way to show his, and WBN's appreciation to his fans . I don't think I've ever seen that being done before by other artists or their labels. At least none that I recall anyway. Dee

It is a wonderful way for Randy and the Team and who ever else was involved to make this video to show their appreciation to the fans. I do know that there are a couple of other artists who are doing a similar thing. Alan Jackson is having fans submit video tape that they took themselves to be used in one of his music videos (http://www.theboot.com/2008/09/23/alan-jackson-needs-you-for-his-new-vid...) and I want to say Tim McGraw or Trace Atkins (I could be wrong on both counts) are having fans from across the county do a line dance for a video.

And how much you wanna bet, those artists videos will make it to GAC or CMT? Sure wouldn't surprise me.

i gues given the fact Randy's is on the internet, the title of Fan Club video really doesn't matter and in fact may be seen by more people than the two video channels could even offer. We can hope so anyway.

Lademars, I think the line dance thing was Alan Jackson, for his "Good Times" song/video. The chorus is repeated 13 times. (Tell me that isn't more then a 3 minute song) that radio use to demand in order for a song to get played. I guess it all depends on who the artists are as to the time limitations/restrictions.. Dee

I didn't think my concert night on September 13th could have gotten any better, however, seeing my pic in a RANDY VIDEO just made my day!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Ranch. Thank you to the RT team for all you do to make this an awesome fan experience.

Trace is not doing any line dance videos. His most recent video is Muddy Water with very strong gospel tones to it.

I know I already corrected this and said it was Alan Jackson not Trace who did the line dance video.

Wow. I've been on vacation and haven't had a chance to get on the net to check out Randy's Ranchers. What a surprise to find the official fan club video is up and running. AND my picture is the very first one on the video. What a thrill. I am e-mailing it to all my friends and their friends and their friends. What a great video. I have been a Randy Fan from the beginning. He was the one who converted me to country, and I have never left. God Bless you Randy and God Bless Lib for having the insight into what Randy would be today. You are both blessed many times over from up high. Love to you both.
