A Voice From Your Past :-)

Hi Randy!
I wish I had known of your website before now. I would have loved to send in some snap shots someone took of us for "Dig Two Graves"...... they were taken right at the time you first rose to fame. I was a part of WDAF 61 Country's live broadcast. Do you remember performing at the Independence Center - close to Kansas City, Missouri - with Don Crawley's (61 Country's then Promotional Director) band for your accompanyment? I wonder if you'll remember a tall blonde popping up - out of nowhere - on stage during your performance to sing with you??? The look on your face was priceless for you didn't know that Don had motioned for me to come up out of the audience and I'm sure you thought it was random.
After your performance there you met with Byron Jones and he booked you for 3 more shows - one at the KC Opry (Kansas City) and 2 at the Ferris Opry in Richmond, Missouri. Byron invited me to be a part of his opening act for those 3 performances.
At the KC Opry I got to sit alone with you for a spell outside on the back steps of the theatre. It was there that you indulged me by sharing with me a bit about your youth. I walked away with you always, ever-after, my favorite amongst all the Nashville talent I had encountered in my experience as a fellow performer and vocalist.....you left me with the impression of someone who was very "real" and down-to-earth.
Now, fancy that, your path has taken you to Gospel music!!! I am so happy that God lead you down that path...He will use you to bless over and over...& in the process bless you as well.
I would sure love to hear from you,
God continue to favor you and bless you as you seek His will each day and as He sends you out into the field,
Christi Moore
