That is so cool. Thank you

That is so cool. Thank you for posting the thread. I will sure send this on to all my Randy friends also. I found something interesting while ago.
I am www.myspace.com/angels4bobseger
I did a search for Randy there and came up with a Randy Travis Fan Club. I don't think that really is Randy himself but I wish it were.
For one thing it says that this guy is a Taurus. Sure wish it was Randy though. Would anyone know if that is Randy?

Sandy

Sandy - randy is a Taurus.

Sandy, Randy does have a myspace page on Myspace and the Fan Club information is listed there but I believe if you check it out, it will lead you back to this page where one can join the fan club via either the six-month free membership card currently available in the Deluxe versions of Around the bend or by paid membership of $19.99.

All the information is available on this site by clicking on Fan Club if you've not already done so. That is what "randy's Ranch" is all about.
See you there.

XM Show Great Show

Wow, great show - I've listened to it twice now already and if you've not yet done so, check it out. Remember, it runs all day long repeatedly on XM - XM2.

Randy shares a lot of good stories and he along with Robb, Lance, Joe and David perform six songs.

Randy on XM

I listened once but missed the very beginning and now listening a second time and recording it so I'll have it for my own collection. Great show!

Randy on XM

I recorded it also for my collection, burned a CD and even took it to bed with me to listen again last night.

Funny

Your to funny Linda.

I burned it too

I burned the XM session too and mailed it out to some of my friends that were not able to hear it today.

Burned CD

Interesting - I thought i had read in the guidelines copies weren't supposed to be made for other than personal use.
I'm sure people do it a lot but not sure i'd advertise it.
To each his own, of course.

Favor

Well since I have total trust in my friends I know that the copies will go no further then in their hands and if they could have made a copy themselves for their own personal use they would have. Since I feel everyone should have a chance to hear Randy I did them a favor.

Help

Lademars just wanted to tell you in case you get in a lot of trouble for burning that show to cd and giving it to your friends, I have a nice lawyer friend who can help you out. Just say the word.

FAN

Well someone sure spends a lot of time on the computer searching for Randy's new album reviews and concerts and you even burned a cd to take to bed with you,now that is a dedicated fan. Randy must be so proud.

CD's

I would think that making copies of "any" CD that is bought, would be copyright infringement. Artist's put their music out so it can be bought by all of us. If you start making copies and giving them away free, the artist isn't profiting from that, and IMHO that doesn't seem right. I do burn CD's also, but they are for my own private use, not to "share" with those who don't buy them. Like I said, this is only my opinion, but somehow it just doesn't seem right. I think that all of us here for Randy Travis, want his CD to be bought by as many people as possible.

Radio

Ms Pea this wasn't a cd that was copied it was off the radio station! There is a difference!

Cd

MY goodness people we are not talking about selling them on a street cornor are we. What is the big deal anyway.

Profit

And speaking about making a profit, I could have bought two cd's from Walmart and three from Target for the price I paid for mine. Someone made a profit and I bet it wasn't Randy.

CD's

No, I wasn't implying that is was. If I make 20 copies of this CD and pass them out to my friends, someone is loosing money. I can't remember what percentage the artist gets from the sale of each CD, but whatever their profit, they are getting much less if a person buys 1 CD makes 10 copies and then gives them away. I said this was just MHO, and of course people have the right to disagree with me. "If" I were the artist, I know it would be upsetting to me. Why do you think they closed down "Napster" years ago? People sharing songs with each other, and the artist loosing out totally.
Pat

CD's

I expect that if you had to make a copy of a cd to give someone that they would never have bought it anyway.

I was only able to catch a

I was only able to catch a few minutes of this, and would love to hear the whole thing. How do I find it? A google and xm search return nothing.Im willing to buy it if its available.

XM Radio Session

Mikeb,
I would share my copy of the XM Radio Session with you but some people seem to think it is copyright infringement. Here is the funny part, (and I know this sounds like a joke but believe me when I tell you it is the truth) the first copy I sent out went to the home of an FBI agent. So you see if I thought I was doing something wrong I wouldn't send him a copy.

I forgot all about this. We

I forgot all about this. We were out of town with my brother and his wife from Florida that day. I hope they have another repeat.
