Hello. Happy Birthday! I have a gift for you..... I started making it right after my husband and I got married back in 1989 and have always wanted to send it to you but did not know how. .....We will see you on Aug 10 2008 at the Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma, Washington - If I brought it to the concert is there someone I can give it to that will make sure you get it????? (I spent a LOT of hours and money on the materials to make it and I really think you will love it!)
My husband & I went on our very first date on April 12, 1989 to a concert at Key Arena in Seattle, WA to see you in concert with Tammy Wynette and KT Oslin. It was so GREAT!
A year and a half later in Sept 1990 we went to see you in concert again for our one-year wedding anniversary at the Puyallup Fair in Puyallup, WA where Alan Jackson opened for you. It was Great too!
We have moved a lot over the years and have never been in a place where you played again except once when we couldn't afford the tickets to attend.
NOW We are going to get to see you again finally on August 10, 2008 at the Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma, WA...... I WON the tickets from the radio station KMPS today and I am soooo excited!!!! I sure hope they are good seats!! My husband and I will be celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary (and my birthday to) this September so it will be an early anniversary date!
We have been through a lot in our years together -- including the loss of a son in 2003 (he was 11 years old) --- your Christian albums have been wonderful at helping me deal with the emotions with that.
Anyhow, We are so excited to be able to see you in concert again and we cannot wait!!!! We sure hope you will be playing a combination of the country and Christian music -- we LOVE it all!!!

Haha, I am "the girl that skipped her college graduation and drove 7 hours"!!!!! I really enjoyed seeing the pictures! :) There are no words to express how grateful I am to have had the opportunity to meet Randy...although I have no clue what was said because I was super nervous and excited! His calm and sweet presence helped me not feel so silly! He is an inspirational person and legendary artist!!
