"We filmed "Faith In You" video in the beautiful old Million Dollar Theatre in L.A. Built in 1918 and completely refurbished and redecorated in 2007. It was a fun day, very exciting to be doing a music video again. The Director Tue Wallin Storm was easy to work with and the catering was good."

Song
Yes, it is on his "You And You Alone " album on the Dreamworks label.
Australia?
I am desperate to know if and when Randy will be doing a tour of OZ?
Please let me know, Myself and lots of other friends would love to see him but can't make it to the states. :-(
Also on the 2000, live concert DVD, R.T sang a Song named " A Horse Called Music" does anyone know if it's available on an album? I love this song, and would happily buy any cd that had it on it............. :-)
Chance of Europe
Erika, I'm not one to answer this by any means but just want to say glad you found Randy and his music as it is some of the best out there as far as country and country Christian goes.
He did do a show in Switzerland last year but I am not aware of any plans for Europe at the present time. My only suggestion is to keep visiting this site and his tour page for updates as they come along.
Take care.

Is there any chance that
Is there any chance that Randy Travis will visit the Europe someday...
most of the fans are from the States and they have the chance to meet him, i guess that when i want to see him i just have to come there! I only discovered his music few months ago but i like it...a lot!
Voting
Yes, it is gone for some reason but you can e-mail them with a "write-in" request at
top20@gactv.com
Their instructions do indicate if the e-mail is spammed, votes may then be disregarded but since we are entitled to at least one daily vote a day, that is what I've been doing.

I tried to vote for faith in you on GAC's webpage, but was unable. They have taken randy's song off the list of songs you can vote on, even though his song is number 20 on the top 20 list.
begging radio
well i email my radio station once again to ask them to play Faith In You. I let them know the song is doing well on GAC and CMT. I am also a loyal listner who feels they don't listen to their listners.
If We Only Knew...We Could Have Voted
On the 13th of May on KIIM Tucson, Randy's "faith in You" was one of the songs up for voting on in what they term as their Bunkhouse Brawl.
It was up against the Bellamy brothers and won; on the 14th it was up against John Micheal Montgomery and lost by one vote. Here is what is on that site. I have to say, i was a bit annoyed by their last comment how they were surprised that Randy won - maybe more people should give it a chance. As we've always said, if listeners are given a chance to hear it, they would love it.
This was one of the stations Randy did visit and interview with. I'm not sure if any of our stations have the song competitions like they used to or not.
I just thought if there is a bright spot, Randy at least did beat out the competition one night.
Wednesday, May 14th:
We've got a brand new Champion again for tonight's BHB!
Champion: Randy Travis with "Faith in You"
Challenger: John Michael Montgomery with "If You Ever Went Away"
Winner: John Michael Montgomery with "If You Ever Went Away" ...
Both songs were great and very well-received, but only one can win... and tonight, it was John Michael by ONE vote.
Bunkhouse Brawl results for Tuesday, May 13th:
The Bellamy Brothers are in concert Sunday night at The Maverick! Details on the concerts page, but hear their new song tonight!
Champion: The Bellamy Brothers with "Drug Problem"
Challenger: Randy Travis with "Faith in You"
Winner: Randy Travis with "Faith in You" ...
I have to admit, I was surprised by this one! I thought The Bellamy Brothers would take "Drug Problem" to retirement, but not tonight! Randy won by three votes!
Asked
good luck - we long-time fans have been asking that for years. I think i even asked that same question a couple of weeks ago on here to see if the Randy Travis Team could shed some light on it.
As I mentioned earlier, the last thing I got wasn't necessarily the charts but just "we want to see how the compeitition is doing". It basically came down to the same thing.
At least you got an answer. They know me so well now in this location from having requested Randy, they don't even respond.

Asked
I don't know Ronda I just emailed them again and asked that same question.
My question is...
How is it supposed to get to 35 if nobody will play it?
Response
Well this is the response I got this morning in my email.
Hi Linda,
I am a big Randy Travis fan, and I have seen him in concert about 5 times. The song has not yet made it on the country charts, and we usually will add a song to our playlist when it gets near 35. Keep your fingers crossed that it will do well. Right now it is not looking good, unfortunately.
Jimmy
Like you said Dee at least they do answer my emails. I listen every day because they give out numbers every hour that are worth $50 the next morning. One day I missed the number because I was on the phone so I emailed them and asked if they would email me the number and much to my surprise the did. I haven't won any money yet but I did win RANDY TRAVIS tickets back in 2006.
Re: radio
At least you got a reply from them Lademars. I have yet to get any response at all from the one station. The other one they did say they would try to play it. But since I can't sit by the radio 24/7 I don't know if they ever did. They didn't during the time that I did listen which was that DJ's entire segment ( 4 hrs) and no Randy.
It is so frustrating! They want you to be a loyal listener to their station. But then totally ignore your requwest . I even mentioned to the one station that I am a member of their loyal listener club ( included my membership #) hoping that would make some difference in getting my request fullfilled. But didn't make a bit of difference . I didn't even get an awknowledgement to my request. It was the first time I e-mailed that station requesting Randys' "faith In You" . So it wasn't that I was being a nag.
radio?
this is the samething i get but I will not give up till Faith in You is #1.so i keep calling radio and emailing them.
Emailed my radio station
I emailed one of the DJ's at our local radio station today and asked if he could please play Faith In You. He wrote back and said he was sorry that Randy doesn't get played much and he gave me the email address of the music manager of the station and said my best bet was to ask him to add Randy's new album to the music line-up. So I did of course and I will keep my fingers crossed and hope he adds it to the line-up. I will surely post again to let you all know if it worked.

Every time I try to hear music from around the bend it tells me to join the fan club!! I thought I did. If not how do I join?
Faith in you
This song should touch anyone who hears it. I have been to a few of his concerts and he is great. I love the guy. This song- Faith in you, he sang at the last concert he had at the Turning Stone Casino here in NY....Incredibly Awsome!! cannot get enough. Can't wait till he comes back to the fingerlakes area (central NY - upstate). His new CD I hear will be in the stores in June.
Faith In You?
Somebody a while back mentioned how Randy's new single was doing on the charts, Where do I go to track this? Has it been released to radio yet? Seems the radio stations around here only play the top 40 and it repeats every couple of hours :(
Faith in You
One of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard in any genre of music. I saw the video on GAC and had to hear it some more before I went to bed tonight and I found it here. I can't wait to get the CD - Such a long wait - July ? . I am going to down load this video. I LOVE IT. Randy sings it with all the heart I have ever heard anyone put in a song, and for the first time ever, I voted for a GAC video top 20, and I will do this every day for "Faith In You".
Song reminds me of my marriage
When I heard this, it touched me in that nostalgic place. Yet it still filled me full of faith for my husband too. It's indescribable, really, I guess. The song is beautiful and Randy, of course, does a fantastic job delivering it. :)

Faith in you
Hi five to Randy for "Faith in you", it's a beautiful song and he deserves all credit for his singing and song writting.
I have not heard a song before that touched my heart like this song did, and I envy any person who has met this gentle, kind hearted person.
I live in Australia so unfortunately havent seen Randy in concert, but if I won the lottery today I would be on the first flight and I better take my mother cause she would be very upset if I didn't.
Anyway I look forward to his new album.
Randy, God Bless you and I hope 2008 brings you all the happiness and love you deserve.
Love Leonne
