If they don't play it for us then how will they know how it will do in the charts. We need radio help to get to #1. I called yesterday and they played Three Wooden Crosses. I love the song but i ask for Faith In You. Do they listen to their listener? Maybe Randy's team as a idea!!
I've also e-mailed and called the stations but unfortunately, I was told by one the same old story that we are so often told, a question that fails to get answered. The response was they are waiting to see what the competition does. It seems the response is either that or we are waiting to see how it does on the charts. For years we always wondered"if no one plays it, how is it supposed to get on the charts." I'd sure love a response from the WB people on this one since they seem to be leaving it to the fans now that the radio promotion seems to have slowed down. Perhaps I am wrong about that and there is more going on behind the scenes than we know but it sure isn't obvious in this part of the country.
You're right about the video channels and it does seem they are playing it. At least i've actually just happened to turn CMT on a couple of times and run across it. Hey, if CMT is playing it, maybe progress is being made!!!
I do vote on CMT but GAC has now made their page inaccessible for blind persons using screen reading software and although i've notified them about it, no response or concern to date so unfortunately, i can't vote there.
I did read some guidelines recently on the internet about how mass mailings to stations by fans and constant contact by the same individual can often do more harm than good. Some of us have even seen that to be true by the irate response we get from air personalities so I do try to be careful.
Let's just continue doing what we're doing and hopefully some progress will be made. I also called the After Midnite show the other night and requested "faith in You" but after waiting three hours with no results, I finally did get to bed. Not sure if they ever played it or not. I had hoped since Randy had appeared on the show with Blair, they might give it some attention.
Even though it seems to have slid on Media Base a little, i did note in the music row Magazine Breakout Chart, it did go up from #57 to #51 from Week 17 to Week 18. Keep fingers crossed that that continues on an upward trend.

Your not alone Rhonda, I too, have been emailing, our local stations for them to play "Faith In You at least once a week. Don't want to get too pushy and turn them off entirely. But so far my efforts seem to be falling on deaf ears.
I think what will finally be the motivating factor for radio is if the video' networks continue to give it air play they may begin to follow suit. It seems much of what they will support is what is being played most heavily on the video networkks. So I continue to vote for it on those networks a couple times a day. At least you get an immediate response by way of ""thank you for voting"
