Randy makes the top five nominees in two categories - congratulations, Randy.

The nominees for the 14th Annual Inspirational Country Music (ICM) Awards have been announced. The award show will be held on Thursday, Oct. 16, at 7 p.m. CST at the
Trinity Music City USA Auditorium located in Hendersonville, Tennessee.
Carrie Underwood, George Strait, Josh Turner, Randy Travis, Ricky Skaggs & The Whites
are nominated in the Mainstream act category. Alison Krauss received a nod in the
Bluegrass category.
The annual ICM Awards are dedicated to honoring and showcasing the biggest names
and emerging talent among artists who perform Christian and Inspirational Country
Music.
Multi-platinum recording artist Collin Raye will be hosting the show as well as performing.
Raye has hosted a past ICM Awards Show and has numerous projects involving Christian
& Inspirational Music, including: "The Gift," "The 11th Commandment," "Quitters"
and "Soldier's Prayer."
The Isaacs are slated as the first performers on the show. In addition, the Grammy
Award winning group, Point of Grace, as well as Greg McDougal with Tammy Cochran,
2007 ICM Entertainer of the Year, Del Way, James Payne and Mike Rimmey are confirmed
to perform on the show. Additional performers and presenters will be announced in

I was wondering if they would have that catagory since the film was christian based. Glad to see that they are. One more opportunity for Randy. keeping my fingers crossed that he wins in every catagory he has been nominated. I love the movie "The Wager" and hope we see many more such Christian based movies with Randy the lead character. Dee

Thanks for the info Linda and Dee. Hope that he wins both categories in which he is nominated. He certainly deserves it. It is a shame that he did not receive the nomination for The Wager. He did a really good job with that part. Congrats Randy on the nominations!

I agree, kim, that he didn't specifically get credit for The Wager. But that may have been just a bit too much for them to admit he was the reason it did as well as it did.

I still wish the movie well as I do for all of Randy's nominations.
