Will you be in the D.C area on June 10th?

Hey all, got some great news this morning! Please read the following, if you you can make it, follow the instructions exactly as XM radio has written and you may just be sitting with Randy at XM's studio on June 10th!

"XM Satellite Radio, America's no. 1 satellite radio service (featuring 68 commercial free music channels), is assembling a small audience of friends and fans of RANDY TRAVIS for a taping session with the artist on the afternoon of June 10 , 2008 at XM's Washington, DC broadcast studios.

The seating for this special program is extremely limited and approximately 40 people will be chosen on a "first-come, first-served" basis determined by when their email is received at XM. If you are interested and are 100% confident that you can be in Washington, DC on the afternoon of June 10, 2008, please send an email complete with your full name and contact information to live@xmradio.com. Do not reply to this email.

Make sure to include " RANDY TRAVIS” in the subject line of your message to live@xmradio.com or your email will not be considered.

If you wish to come with a guest - one other person only - please include that person's name and contact information (email and cell phone nos. are important in case there is a change in schedule) as well. If you are selected to attend, you will receive an email with the exact time and further instructions. Only people who have received this email will be put on the guest list and will be able to attend.

Incredible!

Being at XM studios with Randy was the most amazing experience for me. I have been his biggest fan since I was a little girl, and never miss a show when he's in the area, so to be a part of such an intimate event was an honor. Hearing him sing Horse He Called Music for me was over the top! Thanks for an amazing day!

Randy in Washington DC

I will have to say that seeing Randy in Washington has to be one of the most memorable experiences I will never forget. It was more upclose and personal. I was lucky to be in the front row. His music was breathtaking as always. And he has such a great sense of humor. I was able to get a few pictures after the session was over and one with him. That sure made my day. I'm sorry to all of you that could not be there and would have like too, but you sure missed a great experience. Tootsreds it was nice meeting you and your husband. It's pretty cool that you can meet a stranger from another state and have something in common RANDY!!! It was great.

Very Happy!!!

I too made the list to see Randy in Washington DC. Tuesday can't get here soon enough!!! It will be fun and it will be nice to see other randy fans that are on this site.

yes congratulations it would be a great blessing to attend that event but it is a long way from Ontario,Canada to Washingtion D.C

Congrats! I am very jealous though. I tried to talk my husband into it. I told him it would be the perfect present for our 25th anniversary but as soon as he found out it was a 17 hr drive he nixed that idea in a hurry. Oh well, I still have the Horny Toad on July 3rd.

Me too.

I would love to go but it's quite a ways from Kansas to Washington D.C. My next concert is at The Horny Toad on July 3rd. Only 37 days! Can't wait.

I Wish!!!!

I guess i can only dream -

will it be just a taping at the time or will it actually be live on XM at the time or does anyone know?

I'm counting down the days until I can see him at my next show - only 46 days, 0 hours, 56 minutes and 19 seconds as of this writing.
Can hardly wait.
