The Residual Blessing Of Gospel Music

The media of television, radio, and digital music are such powerful tools in our world today. These tools just go on and on performing continually. You know, I tell folks, when a person's work for God carries on even when they are asleep, away or departed from this life, that is a very blessed individual. It's like the late Reverend Charles Sivley who on a word from God almost single handedly built a Gospel radio station back in the late 70s. He has recently passed away, but his wonderful work still carries on today. Just think, he is receiving residual reward in heaven for his work that is still going on. It's like Randy Travis and the awesome messages of faith that he has brought the world operating in his God given gift. I still get more requests for "Three Wooden Crosses" and others of those songs of faith when I minister in song than any other songs I sing. This is one reason that I love to write Gospel music; while I'm at work or asleep or on vacation or elsewhere, if this world is still standing, maybe someone somewhere is being blessed by a song I wrote. Without a doubt, as long as there is television, radio, and other musical sources, I know many will continue being blessed and changed by the Godly gift that Randy possesses...
